This the most special time in your life, although of course it can be emotional and overwhelming. Red Tent Antenatal Classes offer expert antenatal education to guide you on your journey through pregnancy in an honest and supportive way. Knowledge really is power. I encourage informed choice, using up to date research to empower you in your decisions around birth and parenting. Red Tent antenatal classes give parents the knowledge to feel confident about birth and the tools to manage whatever evolves during your birthing experience. Ask as many questions as you need to and I’m happy to go through information until you feel confident. Classes consist of 3 x 1 hr sessions, however at Red Tent we offer a bespoke service tailored to suit the individual client. 1:1 classes are offered online. We offer daytimes, evenings and weekends. Session 1 content: -The reproductive system. -Pelvic floor. -Fetal position. -The power of oxytocin. -The signs of labour. - Baby's position. Session 2: -The stages of labour. -Coping mechanisms. - Hydrotherapy. -Fight or flight. -Breathing. -Breastfeeding. Session 3: -Role of the birth partner. -Birth aspirations. -Where to birth your baby and what to expect. -Going past your expected due date. -Your newborn. The completion of all three sessions doesn't mean the end of my services. From the time of booking and payment, I am available via phone 24:7 for any support needed. This support continues through pregnancy, early labour and for 6 weeks postnatally (which can be so beneficial in your breastfeeding journey). If more sessions are required, these too are part of the service with no extra charge. Hence you pay for the 3 sessions only and get so much more. You can email me at karisannette@red-tent.com This midwife led antenatal course is held over 3 x 1 hr sessions, each session costing £30. Postnatal & breastfeeding support is also available and is absolutely free! **£30 deposit to cover your first session (booked here). At the end of your first session we will book your next two, at a time convenient to you, and complete the remaining payment. The course can be held via Zoom/Teams or within your own home. A travel fee of £15 will be added to the price of the course.

Cancellation Policy

To cancel or reschedule, please contact me at least 24 hours before the event. Failure to cancel before this 24 hours will result in full payment being required.
